FAQ

What is neuroadvocacy?

Neuroadvocacy is the practice of supporting and empowering neurodivergent individuals—such as those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or other brain-based differences—by promoting understanding, access, and inclusion across systems. At NeuroAdvocacy & Consulting, it means helping families, educators, and organizations move beyond awareness to create meaningful, sustainable change that supports every type of brain.

How can I access your online courses?

I partner with parents, educators, administrators, and organizations who want to build more neuroinclusive spaces. Whether you’re navigating special education systems, developing inclusive teaching practices, or shaping workplace policies, I provide tools, guidance, and strategy to help you move forward confidently.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

NeuroAdvocacy & Consulting provides:

  • Parent Advocacy Services – Guidance through IEP and 504 processes, communication strategies, and documentation support.

  • Professional Development & Training – Interactive sessions that deepen understanding of neurodiversity and offer practical, inclusive strategies for teams.

  • Consulting Services – Customized organizational consulting for schools, nonprofits, and businesses to implement neuroinclusive practices.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ADVOCACY AND CONSULTING?

Advocacy focuses on direct support—helping parents and families navigate educational systems, prepare for meetings, and understand their rights. Consulting focuses on systems and strategy—working with educators or organizations to develop programs, policies, and environments that truly include neurodivergent individuals.

DO YOU ATTEND IEP MEETINGS?

Yes. I offer support both behind the scenes (helping you prepare, organize, and communicate effectively) and in-person or virtual attendance when requested, depending on location and scheduling. The goal is to ensure your voice and your child’s needs are clearly represented.

DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL SERVICES?

Absolutely! Most of my consulting and advocacy sessions are available virtually, allowing me to support families and organizations across the country with flexibility and accessibility.

ARE YOUR TRAININGS CUSTOMIZABLE?

Yes. Every training or workshop is tailored to the audience—whether that’s a school district, workplace, or nonprofit team. I adapt the content, examples, and strategies to your context and goals so participants leave with tools they can actually use.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

You can begin by reaching out through the Contact page. From there, we’ll schedule an initial conversation to discuss your goals, needs, and the best service option for you.
