Welcome to NeuroAdvocacy & Consulting LLC

Building Systems that See, Support, and Empower Every Mind

Hi, I’m Dr. Meredith Gapsis, and I’m so glad you’re here.

NeuroAdvocacy & Consulting was born out of a simple truth: neurodiversity is not a problem to fix — it’s a reality to understand and honor. For years, I’ve worked alongside families, educators, and organizations who are trying to navigate systems that weren’t built with every brain in mind. Through this work, I’ve seen what happens when neurodivergent people are understood, supported, and truly included — and I’ve seen the frustration when they’re not.

This space — and the services I offer — exist to help change that.

What NeuroAdvocacy Means

At its heart, neuroadvocacy is about bridging the gap between awareness and action. It means helping schools, workplaces, and communities move beyond surface-level inclusion toward real, structural understanding.

That might look like:

  • Supporting families through IEP meetings and educational advocacy.

  • Guiding educators in creating neuroinclusive classrooms where every learner can thrive.

  • Partnering with organizations to deliver professional development and workplace training that transforms how teams think about neurodiversity.

Neuroadvocacy isn’t just about compliance or checklists — it’s about reshaping systems so they make sense for real people.

What You’ll Find Here

This site is designed as both a resource hub and a point of connection. Here, you’ll find tools and guides to help you feel empowered in your advocacy journey, as well as opportunities to partner through:

  • Parent Advocacy Services — guidance through IEPs, 504s, and communication with schools.

  • Professional Development & Training — customizable sessions for educators and workplaces.

  • Consulting Services — helping organizations integrate neuroinclusive principles into policies and practices.

Alongside these offerings, I’ll be sharing insights, strategies, and reflections here on the blog — because advocacy grows stronger when we share knowledge and stories.

My Commitment

My work is grounded in collaboration, respect, and the belief that neurodiversity strengthens every community it touches. Whether you’re a parent, educator, or organizational leader, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

Thank you for being here — for caring about this work, and for believing in what’s possible when we build with inclusion in mind.

Welcome to NeuroAdvocacy & Consulting.Let’s create spaces that see, support, and celebrate every brain.
